I start by listening to your needs, questions, concerns, and fears. Then guide you towards achieving (or exceeding) your goals.

Whether you need/want a little help, or a lot of help; I’m there for you:

  • Attend medical visits with a medical professional advocating for you
  • Take notes, ask the right questions, and translate medical terms into plain english
  • Help the patient, family, and friends understand small details, and the big picture
  • Train family, friends, and the patient:
    • Pre-medical appointment
    • What to expect
    • Home assessment to prepare for coming home after hospitalization
    • Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
    • Work with Case Management team before discharge
    • Tips and tricks from years of professional experience
    • Contacts with community support organizations
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Review that current medications include proper names, dosage, & schedule; as well as
    medical history

Note: Belynda does not specialize in assistance with medical insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. While she can certainly provide some degree of assistance and advice; her primary focus is advocating for the patient’s medical care.

Special Needs/Education
