Belynda Barkley Montgomery - Principal / Owner

Belynda Barkley Montgomery

Principal / Owner

Belynda Montgomery has over 25 years of experience in Healthcare. She began providing home health care for a quadraplegic patient while attending school to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas. Since graduation, Belynda has worked at Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin. Many patients have experienced both physical and neurological trauma. This involves a wide range of medical care, including difficult behavioural issues, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), strokes, and dementia. Her work requires a team approach with Physicians, Nurses, Wound Care Specialists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers, and Case Managers.

Belynda’s experience illuminated the need for Patient Advocacy. She has witnessed first-hand the frustration, anxiety, and confusion of patients, families and friends. Over the years, Belynda has served as a Patient Advocate for her own family and friends. This has clearly reinforced the need, and the best ways to approach each patient’s unique situation.
